Our stay in Paris was fabulous, in a large part due to the great accommodation at Rue des Lombards. The flat is ideally situated in order to 'walk" Paris. And the immediate area certainly added to atmosphere to our Paris experience. Please let me know if your organisation has accommodation available in Nice and/or Nice environs. My wife and I were in Paris in July, and our studio at Rue des Lombards was perfect because it was close to so many sights. We were within easy walking distance to Notre Dame, Beaubourg and the Louvre. Also the Chatelet metro station was close by. There was a nice boulangerie on the first floor which was great for getting a quick snack. Also the streets were lively at night, so you felt safe if you were out walking in the neighborhood at night.

The rue des Lombards apartment was everthing that we hoped for...and more. The place was clean, neat, and well furnished. We appreciated the attention to detail. Also, we enjoyed being able to get great croissants and baguettes every morning (except Sunday)at the boulangerie downstairs. In addition, it was nice to have a grocery store, ATM, and pharmacy nearby. And, the metro/RER station a couple of blocks away was perfect. Certainly, having the apartment was far superior to our earlier hotel experiences. We are already considering a Paris trip for next year and we will definitely be contacting you about an apartment.

I was very please with the apartment on Rue Des Lombards. It was everything I had expected and contained everything I needed for my first visit to Paris. I am planning on returning soon, within a year and I am thinking of staying closer to Notre Dame. I liked staying in a home rather than a hotel. I like coming and going without attention. My daughter loved the French television. I do not let her watch any tv at home so this was a treat and I must say the French shows are better. My Marianne liked the Simpsons in French. The appartment is even nicer than on the pictures and it is very comfortable. The location could not be better (two blocks from the Seine, around the corner from Centre Pompidou) and there are stores and restaurants all around you as well as public transportation.I highly reccommend it for one to two people.

Our (wife's and my) 10-day stay at the Rue des Lombards studio was terrific. The location could not have been better: 10-minute walk to Ile de la Cite; 15 mins to the Louvre, Latin Quarter; Blvd St. Germain, etc. Many, many good restaurants/brasseries/ bistrots, bakeries, pastry shops, within 2 minutes of the apt. on foot. Five minutes to Metro station. The apartment was comfortable, neat, and well furnished and, although small, had all the conveniences of home, including washer/dryer, stove, fridge, dinnerware, utensils, maps, tour books, TV, stereo, etc. Our landlord, whom we met (splendid fellow), even put fresh flowers in the apt. before our arrival. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Paris.

A beautifully appointed studio with twin beds and all the necessary amenities for easy living. The location is in the heart of the restaurant/museum area with easy access to transportation, grocery stores, patisseries, and walking distance from Notre Dame, Cite, St. Germain de Pres area. And because it is on the 4th floor, surprisingly quiet inspite of its dense location. Enjoyed meeting the owners, too, who were extremely hospitable and helpful during our week stay.

This is a modest but very comfortable and splendidly-located flat. Very central for tourists, and in a colourful quartier, but ideal for anyone doing research (as I was) in the Bibliothèque Nationale (bus 29 to the Richelieu site, Metro ligne 14 direct to Tolbiac),or in the Archives Nationales (a pleasant 15-minute walk away). My hosts were very hospitable,noise was not a major problem,the flat was clean and well-serviced, and the DSL hookup was a wonderful bonus. I would definitely book this flat again.

The apartment at Rue Des Lombards was a jewel of compact efficiency yet very comfortable. Imagine the delight in leaving your quiet apartment in the evening, coming out on a lively pedestrian-only street, and walking 5 minutes to the Seine or one of many reasonable restaurants. To visit a market street, go to Rue Montreugeuil. The hosts were unfailingly helpful. We'll be back.
