What a wonderful place. The owners had just finished renovating it, and everything was new and clean. My wife and daughter loved being next to Notre Dame. With the bells ringing, it was like being in a movie about Paris.

Fantastic location at most, 30 meters away from Notre Dame. We have 3 younger children (9,8,5)and were pleased that most landmarks and metro stops (Cite, Hotel de Ville) were within easy walking distance. The apartment was nicely appointed and utilized space well. We had no problem with sleeping and moving about the apartment when we were there. We liked the bells at Notre Dame and surprisingly, even during the summer tourist season, the only noise we heard was from some neighbors (apartment windows face a common courtyard)who seemed oblivious that some people don't really want to see and hear every aspect of their personal lives. Definately recommended.

When choosing a place to stay in Paris for a full month (September, 2007) our priorities were: location, safety, comfort.Honestly, we could not have chosen a better place. Rue D´Arcole 21 is right next to Notre Dame! The only thing we had to do was to cross a side street, and be right there! Safety is never an issue in that area, and as far as comfort is concerned, the partment is par for the money. Perfect for four people, in a very clean building. Needless to say, you could walk all over Paris from there ... literally.

One of the best vacation experiences we have ever had. The apartment was perfect for my wife, me and three sons. The location was central to everything and very safe. I started every day early at Notre Dame than shopped for breakfast and lunch food for the family in local markets. The kitchen was erfect and we saved a lot of money by buying food the boys would eat and still enjoyed vacationing in Paris. My teenagers were kept very busy and at night enjoyed all the activity by Notre Dame. The washer and Dryer were also life savers. Glenn and staff were very helpful. Thank you

Months of research preceded my choice of renting Rue D'Arcole for my second trip to Paris. The view of gargoyles from the kitchen window convinced me. Disappointment was nowhere to be found. Although above the tourist shops near Notre Dame, we had security and silence. Since my four friends had never been to the City of Light, it was wonderful to be a short walk to the RER, the Metro, the Louvre and so much more. The rain never dampened our spirits, and the apartment was our sharing space...highly recommend.

A red tour bus stops right outside the apartment, a great suggestion for the first day to get a feel of the city. We over packed with clothes, with the laundry room in the Apartment I would suggest to take less clothes.I would rent the same apartment again.

First of all, I apologize for neglecting to fill out the evaluation form at the apartment. I remembered as we drove to the airport that I had tucked it away in the wonderfully informative notebook that you provided. We had such a lovely stay at Rue Arcole. I was visiting family in France with my 4 grown children, ages 23-31. Staying together in an apartment setting was so much better than in separate hotel rooms. Please know that we will tell all who ask that Rentals in Paris is the best way to visit that wonderful city. By the way, your taxi suggestion with Mr. Hamid was invaluable as his van was perfect for our party of five and our baggage. Thanks, RTW

We enjoyed the apartment very much. Our family of four (2 adult children in their 20s) found the apartment comfortable. The kitchen was great for breakfast and snacks. We decorated the mantle for Christmas. The location across the street from Notre Dame was phenomenal, especially for Christmas week. Loved the bells - which were our 830 a.m. alarm clock. A great location and space for our vacation.

My wife and I enjoyed our wonderful stay at Rue Arcole. We actually had booked another apartment through Paris Rentals which became unavailable because of some work that needed to be done. Glen informed us ahead of time and arranged for this lovely substitution in the area we wanted. Rue Arcole is central to everything and as an added bonus is right next to Notre Dame. There are many restaurants within walking distance on both the left and right banks. It is also very close to both the RER and Metro. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds comfortable, bathroom very modern and the wireless worked well and was a definite plus. Glen and his staff were very helpful and our arrival was a breeze. We definitely will be returning next year and renting another one of Glen's apartments.

This apartment was exactly as represented. It was our first trip to Paris and we felt very fortunate that we happened upon this apartment in a most convenient and beautiful location. In our group there were 5 adults for 3 nights and 4 adults for the remaining 4 nights. The kitchen is suitable for having breakfasts and snacks which is all we used it for. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this place. The management is very professional and reasonable. Neil took us to our apartment, showed us where everything was and even led us to a restaurant so that we could have lunch upon arrival. The closet and storage space in this apartment is amazing. Even with 5 people we had more than adequate space to unpack and be comfortable. The washer and dryer is a big plus; they worked very well.

This is a wonderful, spacious, and comfortable apartment. The view of Notre Dame through the kitchen window is fabulous. During our two-week stay, we never once took a bus or metro, because everything was walkable. You probably couldn't find a more central location. This apartment is a real gem.
