old world charming apartment is located in the heart of the historic center
of Paris; the Ile de la Cite. Right behind Notre Dame, across the
river from St. Michel and the Hotel de Ville, this apartment is ideally
located in the middle of the two branches of the Seine river, on a quiet
side street in what was once known as Lutece. The building is classed
among Paris historical monuments and the apartment is filled with signs
of history including the beautiful old terra cotta stone floors which have
been entirely restored. This charming apartment is perfect for visitors
who are looking for a piece of the original Paris.
This apartment is on the second floor of a redone historically classed building. The bedroom faces a quiet inner staircase and courtyard and the living room faces a fairly quiet sidestreet. The apartment has the original wood beams and terra cotta stone floors that have been there for hundreds of years, and have been restored to their original beauty. The furnishings are very charming and comfortable while maintaining the apartment's style and old world elegance. The bedroom has a queen size bed, a bathroom with a bathtub/ full shower head and washing machine/dryer, a living room with a new sleeper sofa, cable tv, high speed DSL internet access (WIFI) and telephone service (including phone calls to the US, Canada, Australia and a number of European countries) , kitchen and dining area. give you a touch of history as soon as you arrive. It shows that the
apartment's location existed for many centuries. |
The living room has the original terra cotta stone floor and wood beams that were in the building's original construction. The apartment is furnished with a number of antiques and charming touches.
There is an open, equipped kitchen that overlooks the living room. There is a refrigerator, microwave/grill, coffee maker, stovetop and all necessary cooking utensils.
