High up in the hills of Montmartre, one of Paris' few remaining villages, this apartment is perfect for visitors to Paris who are truly looking for the experience of living in a Parisian neighborhood. The area of Montmartre has remained one of the most charming artistic and quaint neighborhoods in Paris although attracting a large number of tourists, due to the very high number of sites to visit. These sites include the famous Place des Abesses and the magnificent Sacre Coeur, the church that dominates over Paris from the high hills upon which it sits. Many fans will be happy to visit the sites shown in Amelie's Paris as well. Today, the Place des Abesses is a very lively spot with many bistros and cafes, as well as a large number of small merchants and village-like markets whose wares are sure to please you. This apartment is a few minute walk from the Place des Abesses, the Rue Custine and Sacre Coeur, three landmarks that define Montmartre.
